Joséphine est une petite fille.
Aujourd’hui, elle va faire les courses avec sa maman.
Joséphine is a little girl.
Today, she is going grocery shopping with her mom.
Le matin, elle va à la boulangerie. Joséphine adore le pain chaud.
Elle regarde les croissants et dit :
— Maman, je peux avoir un croissant ?
C’est sa pâtisserie préférée.
In the morning, she goes to the bakery. Joséphine loves warm bread.
She looks at the croissants and says:
— Mom, can I have a croissant?
It’s her favorite pastry.
Le midi, Joséphine va à la boucherie.
— Bonjour! dit la bouchère.
— Bonjour! dit Joséphine.
Joséphine choisit un poulet et du saucisson.
At noon, Joséphine goes to the butcher shop.
‘Hello!’ says the butcher.
‘Hello!’ says Joséphine.
Joséphine picks a chicken and some sausage.
Puis, Joséphine va à la librairie. Elle voit un livre.
— Oh ! J’adore ce livre !
Sa maman dit :
— Pour ton anniversaire.
Then, Joséphine goes to the bookstore. She sees a book.
— Oh! I love this book!
Her mom says:
— For your birthday.
L’après-midi, Joséphine va au supermarché pour acheter des pommes et du lait.
In the afternoon, Joséphine goes to the supermarket to buy apples and milk.
Le soir, après les courses, Joséphine a faim!
C’est l’heure du dîner. Elle va au restaurant!
In the evening, after shopping, Joséphine is hungry!
It’s dinner time. She goes to the restaurant!
