Frequently asked questions
FAQ OF OUR PROGRAMS
Yes, once a week, within 48 hours after the last class of the week, our students receive homework by email to complete before the next class. Homework is not mandatory, but we highly recommend it to help students practice between classes and reinforce their learning.
A lesson lasts 15, 25, or 50 minutes, depending on the program and the child’s attention span.
After the free trial, you will receive an email with your child’s level placement and the recommended class duration based on their attention span.
Yes, to ensure continuity, each class across all levels is delivered by the same teacher.
The estimated time to complete one level, assuming two 50-minute classes per week and completion of homework, is minimum 1 year for each level.
The number of classes for one unit can vary depending on the child’s progress, but typically it ranges from 4 to 20 classes.
We assess students’ progress after every 10 units with a review to check their understanding. If necessary, we revisit key concepts before moving on to the next unit.
We send progress reports once a year. These reports provide an overview of their achievements, areas of improvement, and next steps in their learning journey.
We recommend that students have a pen and a notebook during class to practice writing. This allows them to take notes and complete any written exercises as part of their learning.
Yes, it is absolutely possible to organize classes for siblings or friends, as long as the children are of a similar age and have a comparable level of French.

Bonjour! My kids have taken French lessons with Little French Speakers for several years now I'm overly 100% satisfied. Actually I added myself on kids' lessons if you are interested in French lessons as well. Ms. Sylvie is always friendly and patient with kids (and me ;p) and the representative of customer service Kristen always responds promptly, so I had zero issues whenever I needed rescheduling. The teacher is dedicated and really tailors the pace to fit each child’s level, which makes a big difference. And whenever there’s an issue, the operations team sorts it out really quickly. We’ve had a great experience overall Anna ClaasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our two kids enjoyed the lessons a lot. Rachael KarnsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My son has really enjoyed working with your team and has repeatedly said that he’s learned more in online French than he did throughout all of his elementary years of in-person Spanish. Next year will be his first year of having a high school French class, and I wanted to thank you for the confidence he will feel walking into that room. Kelly CousineauTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are so happy with this program! My two kids (10 & 12) have different teachers but both are wonderful. We have tried working with other online French tutors in the past but none seemed to offer the right amount of engagement for the kids and instruction for us. Our kids enjoy their classes with Little French Speakers and we can tell they are learning new content each week. Ashley WindleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have been thrilled with Little French Speakers. Our child has been studying French privately with them for the past two years. Ludivine is a wonderful teacher; she keeps everything upbeat, positive and moving forward constantly. My son loves his time with her. Raven McCradyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our daughter has enjoyed taking French lessons with Little French Speakers. We have had two teachers during our time here (after a schedule change, we were able to be better accommodated by a different teacher), and both ladies were fantastic! They are personable and patient. I wish the program was a kittle more immersive, but my daughter is learning lots nonetheless. I highly recommend this program. The value is great and the instructors are proficient educators.Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 36 reviews
